I actually ended up having a second all-nighter after the first [well…I did sleep for about 4.5 hours…so I guess it’s an all-night wannabe  ]…the inner workings of yeast turned me into a zombie for two days…

Nov 5

  • mandarin oranges, pineapple, milk, flax, PB

Lunch:

Corn, peas, peppers, eggs, chickpeas, kidney beans, hummus sandwich

Corn~<3. I kinda want to bring out the veggie oatmeal again~but no time to go grocery shopping! [the store’s like…half an hour away D: ]

Nov 6

  • mango, papaya, pears, pineapples, PB, milk, flax, cinnamon, ground ginger

It’s canned fruits, just so you know ๐Ÿ˜› No way I would have had access to real papayas and mangoes! Although I wouldn’t have any objections if the caf decides to bring that stuff out ๐Ÿ˜€

Lunch:

Broccoli, cauliflower, hummus sandwich

Caffeine:

This is like fore-shadowing…I haven’t drank coffee in the afternoon since first year..

Nov 7

  • pears, walnuts, cocoa, cinnamon, ground ginger, milk, flax

+ orange spice white tea. I don’t like the dried orange peel smell, but the tea didn’t taste bad or anything~

My awesome dinner:

Jasmine rice, black beans, zucchini, ,red pepper, carrots, mushrooms, ginger hoisin sauce

LOVE jasmine rice! It smells even better than normal rice–which I didn’t think was possible until I took a whiff~and that is why food is so awesome ๐Ÿ˜€ [other than the fact that y’know…we need it to live]

I originally planned on going to the gym today…but I don’t feel like it…so maybe I won’t go ๐Ÿ˜› I have a commerce assignment due tomorrow anyway~

Sucky lighting alert!

Papaya! Haven’t had this in ages, and my brother made papaya milk on Sunday night so there was leftovers that needed to be used up! And you know what happens whenever there are leftovers in my kitchen!

Verdict–very interesting taste! Papayas are soft like bananas and pears, so they’re great in terms of contributing to sweetness and flavors, but I thought there was a very very very small undertone of bitterness? It didn’t bug me–but worth noting!

Um yeah, the chunky coffee was kind of an experiment in itself…I still had half a cup of papaya milk leftover so um…I think you can guess what happened next! It was actually pretty nasty! The flavors did not match, the coffee was wayy too strong and bitter! I ended up addingย the whole thing [after forcing myself to drink half the cup…]ย into my oats–and it tasted great! I don’t know how that works.

Ooooh yesterday mom made the most awesome dessert ever–walnut soup!

SO GOOD.

Anyway–this morning I was so hungry that I had two formal snacks [I usually get bites of other food after my “formal snack”, but I never photograph those ’cause that’s boring ๐Ÿ˜› ]

Post-yoga snack #1:

Bran flakes, cheerios, blueberries, milk.

Mom’s vegetable soup! ๐Ÿ˜€ I haven’t had turnips in ages!

Off to look up plane tickets to California! Anyone got any good restaurant recommendations?
